Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long and painful road for gamers and developers alike. When the game was released, it was even removed from the PlayStation Store for a long time after struggling with many technical problems, especially on consoles.
But with countless updates, new content and fixes, they’ve managed to turn the situation around. With the release of the Edgerunners series, the game reached impressive sales and player numbers. And now user reviews show that the work pays off.

This return would be impossible for (almost) all other games
mostly very positive
Overall, Cyberpunk still stands at 77 percent positive reviews, which is more acceptable than impressive. However, things have looked very different over the past few weeks and months: As we took a look at the Steam page, reviews in October reached 90 percent positive reviews.
While there is still a dissatisfied minority of gamers who may encounter bugs and technical issues, Steam seems much happier with the game than before. Cyberpunk’s story and world has been enthusiastically received before, and now a few things have changed for the better:
What’s different today?
Biggest and best (ever) update: After the release of major update 1.5, Cyberpunk 2077 significantly changed for the first time. It overhauled relationships, perks, tools, water physics, and more. There was also new content for the game. Reason enough for us to double-check in the final test:
